With rising energy prices, a healthy indoor climate became increasingly important. Gijs and Tom saw the need and started selling hygrometers.

The interest in air quality grew further. Gijs and Tom immersed themselves in the best and most healthy ways to improve the indoor climate. This led to the development of their first dehumidifier: Halo, in collaboration with experts. The product caught on immediately.

Bloomfold is growing rapidly and works hard every day to become the leading air quality brand in Europe. The team has since been expanded with Isabel and Bjarn, who share the same passion: a healthier living environment for everyone.


In the heart of the Coronaper period, Gijs and Tom started their entrepreneurial adventure. Two young, ambitious boys of 18 and 19 with a dream, but still without experience.

Hygrometers were a great success: at some point we sold 600 a day. The range was expanded with air cleaners, humidifiers, CO2 meters and air qualitymeter.com was established.

March: The first official Bloomfold web shop goes live. July: Financing is collected to further expand the product line.
